Nancy Edtl

Ms. Edtl ( BSN, RN, MBA ) was born and raised in Washington State but has been an Alaska resident since 1975. She received her nursing degree at the University of Alaska Anchorage and a Masters’ degree in Business Administration at Alaska Pacific University . She began working with Alaska Native communities and residents through UAA’s Institute for Circumpolar Health Studies by coordinating medical exchanges between Alaskan and Russian professionals from all over the state. She has worked as a clinical nurse as well as administrative/management positions for various health care organizations.

Ms. Edtl has worked as a consultant with the Alaska Native Science Commission since its formation as a non-profit organization in 1992. She is currently employed as the Business and Program Manager. She is a member of the American Public Health Association and serves as secretary for the American Indian, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian Caucus of the APHA; member of the American Society for Circumpolar Health; secretary of the Albrecht-Milan foundation; and member of the Society for Human Resource Managers.
