We have turned over the education of our children to people that have no concept of how to be a human being and how to relate to all of creation, yourself, your community, all of creation, all animals, plants, birds, fish, water and how everything is connected. We have not followed the direction of our ancestors on how to be teachers. My grandparents’ generation was the last of the real Native teachers.”
